Additional District & Sessions Judge (B-20)

Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate (B-18)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate (B-18), must meet the following requirements:
✅ Educational Qualification:
- A Law Degree from a recognized university entitling them to practice law, OR
- A Barrister of Law from England or Ireland, OR
- A Member of the Faculty of Advocates in Scotland.
✅ Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of active legal practice, OR
- Experience as a staff member in the Supreme Court, High Court of Sindh/KPK as the case may be, or subordinate courts.
- The term “practicing the profession of law” includes:
- Legal Assistant or Section Officer in the Law Department of Sindh.
- Assistant Attorney or Assistant Solicitor.
- Full-time Prosecutor, conducting cases on behalf of the State.
- Civil Servants with at least three (3) years of service in connection with Federal or Provincial affairs.
✅ Age Limit:
- General candidates: 21 to 32 years.
- Civil Servants (with at least 3 years of service): Upper age limit extended to 35 years.
- Advocates, Barristers & Pleaders: Legal practice years (up to 3 years) can be deducted from their age.
- Government employees terminated due to lack of vacancy may deduct their previous service years from the upper age limit.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process consists of three stages:

- Candidates must score at least 50% to qualify for the Written Test.

- Candidates securing at least 50% in the written test qualify for the Interview.
